This project aimed to gain a quick understanding of the healthcare sector by partnering with Dow Jones and analyzing 771,466 news articles from the industry over the past two years. By identifying clusters within different fields of interest such as FDA approvals and rejections, clinical trials, breakthroughs, gene therapy, and artificial intelligence, we were able to monitor and analyze micro-trends and patterns within the industry. This market intelligence helps to explore the vast space of news media and identify niches and opportunities in the healthcare sector while also providing insights into the development of certain fields over time.
